Central Community Unit School District 301 looked to Gilfillan Callahan Nelson Architects for help to meet its surging enrollment in the Burlington area. The firm responded with a master plan that included three school projects—a new elementary school, new middle school, and an addition to its high school. Prairie Knolls Middle School officially opened in August 2007.
