Recreation

The Lemont Park District contracted Gilfillan Callahan Nelson Architects to design its new recreation and aquatic center in suburban Lemont. The initiative also called for a renovation of its existing community center and outdoor pool.

Features include a 25-yard lap pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, studio spaces, multi-purpose spaces, a three-station gymnasium, elevated running track, and associated locker room facilities.

Plans to renovate the existing Centennial building include converting its outdoor 50-meter lap pool into a 25-meter lap pool, along with a separate leisure pool--complete with slide and other innovative water features.
